Pulverizarea se efectuează în timpul sezonului de creștere a culturilor, profilactic și la primele semne de boală. Perioada optimă de aplicare a medicamentului este de la începutul tăierii până la faza unui alt nod în cereale. Este recomandabil să se efectueze tratamentul la temperaturi cuprinse între +15 și +25 °C și umiditate optimă a aerului cu o viteză a vântului de cel mult 5 m/s.
Un factor destul de important în eficiența ridicată a medicamentului este pulverizarea uniformă și de înaltă calitate a întregii suprafețe a plantei cultivate fără ca soluția de lucru să curgă de pe suprafață. Datorită efectului secundar fumigant, medicamentul protejează în mod fiabil culturile de mucegaiul praf.
